Eagle County 4×4 members are available to assist other members on a volunteer good samaritan basis. The areas we assist cover all of Eagle County and the surrounding areas including Vail, Minturn, Red Cliff, Avon, Edwards, Eagle, Gypsum, Dotsero, Burns, Bond, McCoy, Basalt, El Jebel, Thomasville, Camp Hale, Wolcott, and Meredith. This includes the Eagle River, Colorado River, Roaring Fork, and Frying Pan River valleys, plus the Gore Range, Sawatch Range, and Flat Tops Mountains.
If you are a member and in need of recovery assistance, please contact info@eaglecounty4x4.org. You can contact that email address using your Garmin inReach or other satellite communication device. If it is an emergency, please call or text 911. Vail Mountain Rescue responds to Search and Rescue calls in Eagle County. Colorado 4×4 Rescue and Recovery also serves the region, subject to their own scheduled availability.
